Don Bollmer, MBA
Mr. Bollmer is CFO of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses, Inc. (AAOHN). He has expertise in finance, financial management and association business practices, and is responsible for oversight of legal issues related to incorporation, anti-trust and operations of non-profit organizations.
Ann Daeke, MBA
Ann Daeke has more than 20 years of customer and member services experience. For the past three years her major responsibilities at AAOHN include working directly with members, chapter officers, corporate members and supporting board members in their volunteer committee roles. Before joining the AAOHN staff, Ms. Daeke managed the Financial Planning Association’s member services center, serving 27,000 financial planners. She also has a solid background in marketing and account management within the corporate arena. Ms. Daeke currently serves as the Owner Relations Manager for AAOHN’s national office in Atlanta, Ga.
David Nour, MBA
David is a social networking strategist and one of the world’s foremost thought leaders on the quantifiable value of business relationships. A native of Iran, David came to the United States with just a suitcase, $100, few family ties and limited English speaking skills. Over the past 25 years, he has built an impressive career within large corporations and early-state business ventures. In 2005 David was named to Georgia Trend’s 40 Under 40, Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Up and Coming and Who’s Who in Atlanta Technology Awards. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Atlanta Journal and Constitution, The Atlanta Business Chronicle, Georgia Trend and Pink magazine. David earned an undergraduate degree in management from Georgia State University and an executive MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta. He currently is the chief executive officer and managing partner for BeOne Now, Inc., an Atlanta-based consulting group.
Marilyn Ringo, MA
As lead media strategist with the Atlanta communications firm of Speechworks, Marilyn oversees the media training program for clients. She is a former news anchor for CNN Headline News and an Emmy Award winning television producer and reporter. She has hosted and produced Turner Broadcasting programs, including Good News and Women of the 90’s Report. Marilyn has interviewed and coached top executives from across the country as the producer and co-host of Georgia Public Television’s business show, Success Track.
Jean Houston Shore, CPA, MBA, CSP
As a consultant, speaker and author with the Business Resource Group in Atlanta, Ga., Jean specializes in guiding others to develop leadership skills, discover personal values and create career management strategies. Creator of five comprehensive management development programs, her work on leadership, values clarification and change management has been featured in three books, Reach for the Stars, Where There's Change, There's Opportunity, and Irresistible Leadership. A summa cum laude graduate of Mercer University in Atlanta, Jean is a member of the National Speakers Association, Georgia Speakers Association, American Institute of CPAs and American Society for Quality. She works with a diverse base of clients, including corporations such as AT&T, BellSouth and CIBA Vision and with associations and non-profits like 4-H, Girl and Boy Scouts of America and Special Olympics. Most recently, Jean completed her MBA at Baylor University. She is also a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), the highest earned designation of the National Speakers Association.
Merle Strangway, EdD
As president of The Learning Edge, Inc., Dr. Strangway specializes in management training and development. His clients include Georgia Power, ADP, Heidelberg, USA, Lockheed Credit Union, Georgia Tech—Office for Organization Development, and Promina Health System. He began his career as a manager for a nonprofit organization and worked for the Royal Bank of Canada prior to entering the doctoral program in education at the University of Georgia. He has served as an adjunct professor in the Graduate School at the University of Georgia and taught at Emory University’s Center for Lifelong Learning. For the past four years, Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA, has awarded Dr. Strangway the Star Award and Instructor of the Year Award for his outstanding work in developing the skills of managers in corporate and public organizations.
