We are looking forward to seeing you as you join your professional colleagues and friends at AAOHN’s 2006 Symposium & Expo.

Let the Symposium experience inspire you to new personal and professional heights as you gather with other occupational and environmental health professionals in the pursuit of knowledge, opportunity and fun.

In Albuquerque, the city where "It’s a Trip," you’ll have the opportunity to renew your spirit, increase the vitality of your practice and savor the sights, sounds and cultural offerings of the Land of Enchantment.

Known as the "Duke City" after the Duke of Albuquerque for whom the city was named, and also as the Hot Air Balloon Capital of the World, Albuquerque blends a relaxed atmosphere, sweeping natural beauty, unique heritage and a four-season climate with museums, galleries, shops and lively culinary offerings to create a distinct, enjoyable and unforgettable experience for every visitor.

Albuquerque’s tri-centennial celebration began in April 2005 and will run through October 2006 featuring fiestas, exhibits and special events. Each month has a theme specific to Albuquerque and its history. The theme for May 2006 is Culture. In addition to a spectacular Cinco de Mayo celebration featuring the Ballet Floklorico de Puebla Mexico performing traditional dances, other May events include a Native American Gathering of all Nations, a performance by the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra and "Sacred Music, Sacred Dance" performed by The Monks of Mystical Arts of Tibet. For more information about Albuquerque and the tri-centennial visit www.itsatrip.org and www.albuquerque300.org.

With all of the career enhancing and recreational opportunities that exist in Albuquerque, I’m certain you will want to be a part of the 2006 Symposium & Expo! On behalf of AAOHN, I look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,

Susan A. Randolph, MSN, RN, COHN-S, FAAOHN
President
