“The 2022 Scholarship and Academic Awards Recipients characterize occupational health nurses who are committed to advancing the health, safety and well-being of workers and the businesses and communities they serve”, said Stephanie Weinsier, AAOHN Foundation Chair. They are impacting the field of occupational and environmental health either through research, leadership, education, improvement strategies, or injury prevention during an unprecedented time when businesses have never needed them more.” “AAOHN Members qualify for these scholarships and grants by meeting a strict set of criteria. They are selected by a Review Panel and are chosen based on demonstrated need for professional development, their potential for future contributions to the field of occupational and environmental health nursing through scholarship, leadership, education, and research, and their future goals. The AAOHN Foundation is proud to partner with our sponsors, particularly during Occupational Health Nurses Week, to enable these recipients to advance their personal and professional goals and celebrate their contributions in promoting and protecting the health of workers in the US and around the globe.
